Acidity In acidity, there is a movement of gastric juices from the stomach into the lower oesophagus (food pipe). This condition mainly arises when acidic contents in stomach (hydro chloric acid) move upward into the oesophagus and making it dysfunctional. In other words, acidity can also be defined as a condition in which there is an excess secretion of acid within the stomach. It is also commonly known as hyper acidity or acid dyspepsia.
